I admitted in my last bullet journal post that I was running out of pages in my first bullet journal. And so I started a new one for the second half of 2019! Which is a lovely way to press ‘reset’ on life.
I only started to bullet journal this year but I am in love! As a writer and artist, it’s a great way to reflect, doodle, and keep track of my schedule. After six months of experimenting with my first bullet journal, I think I’ve really hit my stride and found my unique style.
Yearly View
Minimalism and plants will be my theme for the year. And I’m using a smaller pen size that makes all the designs really crisp. Here is my yearly calendar overview. Some might use a key on the left page, but I never found it very useful. I like having a leafy graphic element instead.
Future Log
This future log gives me a lot of space to record birthdays, anniversaries, holidays, and big events. A future log is a place that can grow with your demands which is always a plus.
Goals and Trackers
These two pages are invaluable to me! I needed to reevaluate my goals at the halfway point and this was a great space to do that. I decided to create goals that were also a lot more manageable than the ones I created at the beginning of the year. I have big dreams but I realized I need to work on one (or two) goals at a time until it is accomplished!
This look is just so clean! I love it!
I have three categories of goals: creative, marketing, and personal. Creative goals have to do with my writing projects, marketing with this blog (and eventually selling my books), and personal goals are self-explanatory.
A creative goal I have is to get my YA Fantasy novel published. A marketing goal I have is to get 200 blog subscribers (which is way more achievable than the 500 I set at the beginning of the year).
My growth tracker is going to be a great visual at the end of the year to see just how my efforts and hard work paid off. I can’t wait to fill each column out at the end of the month to see just how much I’ve accomplished. Because I need to be celebrating every little victory! It’s about falling in love with the process.
I hope you enjoyed seeing my new bullet journal spreads. The minimalist design while looking sharp also saves me so much time! I can create stunning but simple looking pages without all the effort spent on watercolor and complicated layouts.
Happy Day-

Is there a post where you link the products, pens, and highlighters that you use?

I haven’t done a whole post about all the products I use but I should. I’ve linked some at the bottom. Hope that helps 🙂 Happy journaling
