It’s the holiday season and that means (Bing Crosby music on repeat) and all the winter florals! The last spread of the year and I decided to try my hand at watercolors again. Watercolor just takes time and I never end up super happy with it. But I keep practicing it and trying. We’ll see what you think.
Cover Page
After this month, I am excited to ditch the dutch door for good. It’s just an extra step and an extra page used. And for some months, like this one, cutting a dutch door doesn’t look great. But the winter wreath certainly has its winter charm!
Under the dutch door is where I keep my monthly goals, tasks, important dates, and events.
Monthly Calendar
Mistletoe, anyone? It’s hard to jazz up a monthly calendar page in my book but I’d rather go simple than complicated which is just what this month turned out to be.
Weekly Spread
I did a couple of different layouts for my weekly spreads this month. This is my go-to weekly spread where I can get the most out of a page. It leaves lots of room for notes and to-do lists.
A closer look at the layout with some easy to draw holly leaves.
For my last week of the year, I got some new brush pens as a treat. They are beautiful and make coloring so much quicker. The vivid colors make the page stand out! Check out my new year bullet journal spread where I’ll be using them!
Especially for the last week of the year, I was glad for an extra page to do some actual journaling. Something I’ve strayed away from (regrettably) in the last couple of months. But I have about five or so pages left in this notebook to write a yearly reflection and plan my resolutions for the new year.
I hope you go into the new year with rest and peace in your heart. All the positivity to you, dear reader, for the season ahead.
Happy Day-
