If you’re like me you might be feeling a lot of different things. (Like ALL the things during this time of uncertainty.) One thing I didn’t expect to feel is guilt. It’s such a complicated and toxic feeling to be having. But the reason I am experiencing guilt is since I have more time to tackle my creative projects when I don’t have the energy to do them, I feel guilty. There’s this deep-rooted belief that relaxing equates to laziness. Wrong! It’s been a journey to unpack this belief. One does not have to hustle all the damn time.
As the pandemic continues, I find myself in need of more space for self-care. To tell myself, It’s okay to take a break and process. And I’m here to offer you 20 ideas on how you (and I!) can take a break every now and then.

It’s great combined with idea no. 1 😉 I use my lavender and sea salt soak, sea salt is great for skin and lavender provides a lovely aroma for relaxing. Brew or make your warm drink of choice and sit and enjoy it. Don’t do anything else. I have a soy candle that I often light when I’m sipping.
